This website is
designed for me to express ideas that occur to me as
I work on various projects or as things happen in
everyday life. I’m sure you have had ideas such as
‘what if this was done another way’ or 'don't do it
this way because'. That’s basically what this
website is about.
As I’ve lived in seven different states in my
lifetime, I have views of a general nature not tied
to any location such as the west coast, northeast
or the south. I believe in the scientific method;
observer, theorize, make predictions and then prove
or disprove the theory.
I’ve worked as a mechanical engineer most of my
adult life with short stints as a railroad worker
and a glass designer. My engineering duties have
included project management, equipment and
facilities design and specification writing. I have
also designed several websites over the years and
host a few of them on my own server. Whenever
practical, I build my own servers and workstations
to suit my needs. |
